The title says it all. Internet Explorer a.k.a. IE is a very annoying browser for some ‘lazy’ web designers including me. When I’ve finished a design, the first thing to do is to test it on major browsers whether it will or won’t work fine. First test on Firefox and it works perfectly. Second test on Opera. Third test on Camino, and so on; and finally,the last test, which is conducted on IE. Why last? Because I need to press my Macbook’s power button, click restart, and when he ‘dings’, press+hold option key, click the Windows HD icon, and voila! Congratulations I now can access IE.

The last test will always FAIL at first run. The design goes very messy. Still need to fix it with Crimson Editor and upload it to my web hosting server (since I haven’t already installed XAMPP on my Windows HD—I’m too lazy to do it) to see the differences.

Finished? BIG NO. Still need to check it on IE6, IE5, IE4, etc. and I bet it will be still messy!

I hate IE :D

Oh and anyways! Do you like my current blog design? I’m planning to change it though :(

Muhaaahahaa finally I got this domain name! Thanks Sylvii for your COOL recommendation xD. Gotta get used to type v i n e s a .com asap! It’s hard to decide whether it’s better to change current designs or not because I’m a person that can easily be bored and to be honest I am bored now with my designs (my main site design and this wordpress theme too). Do u guys prefer changes?

Anyways, a quick feelin’: I’m currently addicted to Facebook. I can spend hours accessing it while enjoying a sip of my plain flavoured milk. I say, I enjoy it, but not the apps. I rarely visits my apps that are related to ‘games’ more such as Mafia Wars (which is very popular o.O), Pet Society, Word Challenge, and other PlayFish™ games. That’s why I only keep Nicknames, iDescribe, Twitter, FlickR, etc. But seriously, the comment and like feature is very addicting! They’re like @ and Favourite link in Twitter xD.

The title looks like twitter status eh? xD. The truth is, I’m planning a new name because current name is going to be expired within 60 days. I already had a plan with Angga to share domain each other but later I think that it’s not going to be that easy, since we are designers and therefore we need our own place to show our portfolios. I think the idea of subdomain is not really good.. people these days are considered to be forgetful for example to remember whether a domain ends with .com, .net. or .org, and the domain name itself; and the last but not least is that: (in my opinion) domain names with our names in it will be easier to remember than those that contain sophisticated words. Noooo offensee!! ^^

Currently interested in the name sinclair/synclair. But everyone knows it’s not my real name :( and I can easily change my mind when it is about names.

A lot of things happened lately. I was finally promoted to grade 12 in the early 2009. I got two projects that soon will fill the emptiness of my portfolio site. My math scores are rising steadily. The last, but not least, I rarely fall asleep in my business class.

At first, I thought that these events happened because of this year is a lucky year. I don’t realise that it might happened as a result of the hardworking me. Sometimes I say to my self that doing these kinds of stuff is really boring, and doesn’t mean anything at all. I have driven my life to design, not to do surgeries. Why bother? But this statement is not.. good.. really.. at all.. my HSC marks will definitely go down because of this.

Another thing that interests me so much is that I got an Indosat3G sim card in my iPhone. That means that e-mail and conversations are going to be so handy! The cons is: it is slow. Not something but snail.
At least I don’t find any problems regarding mail and twitter checking. I am tweeter. I live with twitter every day, even if my updates are so boring, crap, and What The Fish. But I enjoy reading tweets from tweeters that I follow.

Again, I’m a designer, I’m a freelancer. Have some static and simple projects? Talk to me and we’ll think for something more elegant.

I’m in 12th grade now, the class has also been reset. There only are 3 classes now (were 4) and I’m in the third class (12.3). Why is it? It’s because there were so many of our classmates gone to other countries, either to go to college or directly get into universities.

One of’em is my best friend (and other’s too). He’s gonna go to Monash. We have to do something before he left, that is.. what he is excited for most, recordings.. That’s why he took us to WannaB recording studio yesterday. He had already prepared the Japanese instrumentals that are might not available in the studio. The worst, he ordered me to bring my heavy macbook in case of something unpleasant happened.

Believe me, the place was really.. small.. for a studio, but no doubt.. my sister was with us because she knew that the studio was good (she got the information from her vocal teacher). This made something awful looked perfect.

We recorded 6 songs: Ingatlah Hari Ini, Goyang Duyu, Fated, Lucky, I’m Yours, and Hold and Cold. We spent 160,000 IDR for a package of 6 songs. Two of our team had gone home because they got other appointments at that time. After it we decided to record 4 more songs before we finally get home. They are: Utakata, Chiisana Koi no Uta, Bubbly, and Life is Like a Boat.

AND GUESS WHAT, the staffs said that THEIR FAULTY RECORDING MACHINE SUDDENLY COULDN’T WORK! WTF WERE YOU TALKIN’ ABOUT GUYS? WE’VE SPENT 6 HOURS AND WE GOT NOTHING. *Curse’em as much as we can*

We saw it.. the female staffs whose looks were very annoying and irritating. Never get in to it anymore.. WHAT A WASTE
