Tapi sebenernya masih bisa kok kalau mau @live.com dan @msn.com!

Selain @live.com,@msn.com, @windowslive.com, @hotmail.com, ada juga @passport.com. Keuntungan dari @passport.com adalah ketika sign up, kita ga ditanyain embel-embel kayak tahun lahir, alternate e-mail address, country, dll-dll yang emang malesin buat ngisi =)). Tapi ada kekurangannya juga.. yaitu @passport.com TIDAK BERFUNGSI SEBAGAI ALAMAT EMAIL! Kerjaan dia cuma untuk membuat kita asal bisa login ke windows live services, termasuk Windows Live Messenger (WLM, formerly MSN Messenger). Kalau ada yang ngirim mass e-mail lewat Windows Live Messenger contacts list, kemungkinan besar kamu gak akan dapat e-mailnya karena .. ya itu lah.. @passport.com ga berfungsi sebagai alamat e-mail. Inilah yang membuat gue ngubah identity WLM gue yang dari lawliet@passport.com jadi visien@vinesa.com :), soalnya kalau ada yang ngirim e-mail, gue bisa nerima langsung, ke preferred inbox pula :P.

Tapi basi juga sih since pake e-mail address sendiri yang already exists juga bisa dipake buat daftar windows live ID :P.

The title says it all. Internet Explorer a.k.a. IE is a very annoying browser for some ‘lazy’ web designers including me. When I’ve finished a design, the first thing to do is to test it on major browsers whether it will or won’t work fine. First test on Firefox and it works perfectly. Second test on Opera. Third test on Camino, and so on; and finally,the last test, which is conducted on IE. Why last? Because I need to press my Macbook’s power button, click restart, and when he ‘dings’, press+hold option key, click the Windows HD icon, and voila! Congratulations I now can access IE.

The last test will always FAIL at first run. The design goes very messy. Still need to fix it with Crimson Editor and upload it to my web hosting server (since I haven’t already installed XAMPP on my Windows HD—I’m too lazy to do it) to see the differences.

Finished? BIG NO. Still need to check it on IE6, IE5, IE4, etc. and I bet it will be still messy!

I hate IE :D

Oh and anyways! Do you like my current blog design? I’m planning to change it though :(

Muhaaahahaa finally I got this domain name! Thanks Sylvii for your COOL recommendation xD. Gotta get used to type v i n e s a .com asap! It’s hard to decide whether it’s better to change current designs or not because I’m a person that can easily be bored and to be honest I am bored now with my designs (my main site design and this wordpress theme too). Do u guys prefer changes?

Anyways, a quick feelin’: I’m currently addicted to Facebook. I can spend hours accessing it while enjoying a sip of my plain flavoured milk. I say, I enjoy it, but not the apps. I rarely visits my apps that are related to ‘games’ more such as Mafia Wars (which is very popular o.O), Pet Society, Word Challenge, and other PlayFish™ games. That’s why I only keep Nicknames, iDescribe, Twitter, FlickR, etc. But seriously, the comment and like feature is very addicting! They’re like @ and Favourite link in Twitter xD.

The title looks like twitter status eh? xD. The truth is, I’m planning a new name because current name is going to be expired within 60 days. I already had a plan with Angga to share domain each other but later I think that it’s not going to be that easy, since we are designers and therefore we need our own place to show our portfolios. I think the idea of subdomain is not really good.. people these days are considered to be forgetful for example to remember whether a domain ends with .com, .net. or .org, and the domain name itself; and the last but not least is that: (in my opinion) domain names with our names in it will be easier to remember than those that contain sophisticated words. Noooo offensee!! ^^

Currently interested in the name sinclair/synclair. But everyone knows it’s not my real name :( and I can easily change my mind when it is about names.

What I’ve experienced last week. I was in a hurry of getting a graphic tablet because it’s really a bad thing if you left something that was not belong to you for almost 1 year (thanks for your patience anyways). I needed this for my procrastinating projects. I started to feel uncomfortable if I use Pen Tool rather than graphic tablet. With GT I could express what’s in my mind freely. Not complicated, not fulfilled with complicity.

I thought it was only IDR 700,000. So I just went directly to the store with an enough cash in hand. The girl said to me that she was sorry for telling me the wrong price. It’s IDR 1,350,000 for the latest version of Graphire.

She got me.

And after a long pause––she said,
“The size is similar with this (points to the MousePen).”

It was big, and .. certainly cheap. There’s a mouse provided. Unlike WACOM (I regretted for what I’ve said). I could get them all for only IDR 500,000.

But, I suddenly remembered what my teacher had told me. “It’s very regretful, if you choose Genius.” So, I decided to firstly test the product. I didn’t know if a product goes to the right side or bad side. Tried it out.

And the conclusion is: Don’t say we love Genius.

There was pen pressure, as the box said, but I couldn’t feel it..
There was no double click feature..
Its surface was not smooth..
There was no eraser..

Don’t say we love Genius, even though I already know that you will definitely hate him ;D.

(P.S. I didn’t bring him home!)
